In 2018: ST Microelectronics Nucleo boards to play with and take back home.

In 2018, we provided the participants with Nucleo boards to play with and take home.

The Nucleo board can run several different kinds of embedded programming environments:

  • RIOT-OS open source RTOS for IoT.
  • ARM Mbed IoT device platform.
  • Bare metal, directly on the top of CMSIS and ST libraries.

At IoThon, we focus on RIOT-OS.  If those new to RIOT, there was a Thursday morning tutorial T2: RIOT OS hands-on basics.
